Renewal and access

A monthly subscription renews until cancelled. Each payment covers one billing period; the twelve-week story can span more than one monthly payment. Reaching an ending does not automatically cancel a subscription. Weeks follow the season's release calendar, shown in the game, and paying does not unlock a future week early.

Currency and conversion

Stripe calculates eligible international local-currency prices at checkout. Its displayed exchange rate includes a conversion fee, currently 2%–4%. If local-currency payment is unavailable, checkout uses the BRL base price. Recurring payments follow the subscription currency and billing details confirmed in Stripe. Your bank may apply its own charges, especially if you choose BRL for a card billed in another currency. Existing subscriptions retain their agreed billing terms unless a change is separately confirmed.

Cancel future renewal

Open Account & billing → Manage subscription. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your paid period. Your saved path remains readable, and new paid passages require active access. If the portal is unavailable, contact support.

Refund requests and mistakes

For an unexpected payment, a duplicate charge or a refund request, contact support with your account email, payment date and receipt reference. Do not send full card details. Requests are reviewed according to applicable consumer rights; these terms do not exclude mandatory cancellation, withdrawal or refund rights.

Payment information

Stripe hosts checkout and the subscription portal. Afterlight stores the customer reference and subscription status to manage access. Full card details are not stored by the game.
